Green Juice
Drink your veggies! Start the day with a green juice that will put an extra kick in your step and a multitude of vitamins and antioxidants into your body. There are countless variations on this go-to beverage, this is our favorite combination. The green apple adds a hint of sweetness and the ginger, a bit of spice. Cheers!
Serves 8-10 (6-oz servings)
Ingredients:
3 bunches/packages of spinach
1 bunch parsley
3 green apples, cored and roughly chopped for juicer
2" piece of ginger
1 cup Ruby Red grapefruit juice
1 avocado, peeled and pitted
3 cups ice
grapefruit wedges for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Juice spinach, parsley, apple and ginger in a juicer
Add juiced ingredients to a blender and purée with avocado, grapefruit juice and ice
Garnish each glass with a wedge of grapefruit
