ABOUT THE RETREAT
This retreat is an opportunity for people to immerse themselves in the magic of embodied mindful experience. Using the lens of their bodies, they will discover the richness in the apparent mundane. Through a variety of fun activities in a beautiful setting, guests will reset their mind, body, and spirit through a program that includes cleansing vegan food and a unique approach to embodied living.

Speakers and Host:
Russ Pfeiffer
An anatomist, movement teacher, and bodyworker, Russ Pfeiffer teaches the Psychology of Anatomy to somatic professionals and lectures widely on the intersection of human movement and personal insight. His holistic and practical explanation of anatomy touches on all aspects of being human and ranges from philosophical to highly technical. His teaching is grounded in sound anatomical understanding of the body from over 25 years' experience as a movement therapist and Advanced Rolfer. He has taught anatomy and movement at universities and conferences. He maintains a private practice in Venice Beach, CA
Sue Choi
Trained in bodywork, somatic movement, and perception, Sue Choi integrates a variety of modalities to maximize a person's experience of coherence. She has trained in multiple disciplines ranging from osteopathic bodywork techniques to somatic movement modalities to holistic approaches with auditory and visual systems. Her experience in therapeutics began in yoga therapy and has evolved into a complete mind-body approach rooted in perception and coordination. She maintains a private practice in Venice Beach, CA.
Jay Anthony
Jay Anthony has a Master’s Degree in Communication Psychology as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Communication - both from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. His Master’s Nutrition Certification is from the Tufts University’s Freedman School of Nutrition & Aging in Boston; where his specialty focused on diet trends and food marketing narratives. His celebrity clients for health, diet and fitness have included Barbra Streisand, Uma Thurman and Queen Latifah.
Jay has worked for the past 18 years for the world famous The Ashram health retreat in Calabasas, California where he councils guests, teaches classes and does wellness lectures. In addition he has orchestrated seasonal hiking retreats at the 5-star Blackberry Farm in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. Jay was also Barre instructor trained in San Francisco.
Andy Goldfarb
Andy is delighted to be the retreat host. Hiking retreats, meditation, yoga, art and food are among Andy's long term passions. Andy also has an extensive collection of garden gnomes.
